Located in the heart of Downingtown, our congregation has been serving the community since 1902. We began as a small group of Lutheran foundry and mill workers, gathering to worship as they had back in Germany. In 1903, we welcomed our first pastor — and from those humble beginnings, Messiah has grown into a vibrant and caring church family.
